1. What the shop runs on
The shop is built on WordPress with WooCommerce, the software that runs the product catalogue, cart, checkout and orders. The look comes from the Shoptimizer theme (by CommerceGurus) with a custom child theme called "Soosikauppa 2022", built specifically for the shop. Some pages are built with Elementor Pro (a drag-and-drop page builder). The site is multilingual through WPML. Hosting runs Installatron, a hosting control panel tool that handles WordPress updates and backups instead of WordPress itself. The hosting company is unknown, check with the developer. Main outside services: Paytrail (payments), Shipit and PostNord (shipping labels), MailPoet (newsletters), plus Google, Meta and TikTok for ads and tracking.
2. Domains and where they point
- Main site: Unknown, check with the developer. The shop address is not written in the code.
- Subdomains: Unknown, check with the developer.
- Email: outgoing shop email goes through WP Mail SMTP (a plugin that sends email via a proper mail server). Which mail service it uses is unknown, check with the developer.
- Staging (test copy of the site): none visible in the code. Unknown if one exists, check with the developer.
3. Plugins and integrations
Payments
- Paytrail (by Markup.fi): takes online payments at checkout (Finnish banks, cards, mobile payments) and supports refunds.
- Payment gateways by user roles: shows different payment methods to different customer groups (for example consumers vs wholesale).
- PW Gift Cards Pro: sells gift cards and lets customers pay with them.
Shipping and fulfilment
- Noutopistehaku / carrier agents (Markup.fi): customers pick a pickup point at checkout. Supports Posti, Matkahuolto, PostNord, GLS, UPS, DB Schenker and Pakettipiste. Which ones are switched on is unknown.
- Shipit (Markup.fi): prints shipping labels straight from the order.
- PostNord (Markup.fi): prints PostNord shipping labels from the order.
- Kuitti + pakkauslista (Markup.fi): prints receipts and packing lists.
Sales, pricing and B2B
- Wholesale Prices, Premium, Lead Capture, Order Form: a separate price list for wholesale customers, a sign-up form for wholesale applicants and a bulk order form.
